Match Report
Salisbury Cathedral School Boys-U12A vs  Dauntsey's School
On: Wednesday, 22 Sep 2021
Venue: Away

On a perfect afternoon for rugby, we travelled to Dauntsey's and enjoyed a high scoring match played in good spirits. The most pleasing aspect of the game was the fact that we put into practice the focus of our training sessions since last week's match. In particular, we are now playing with heads up and looking to pass the ball rather than just simply run straight back into contact. We also made a much more concerted effort to secure the ball at rucks by staying lower and driving the opposition off the ball.

In the end we lost by two tries, but the boys showed great determination and a desire to improve. We now need to work on getting our defensive line set as we were too narrow at times.

A special mention should go to Jackson for playing with great energy and determination. He scored some stunning tries and made a number of try saving tackles. Elliot did not stop tackling all afternoon; Will made some powerful runs; and Zeeshan rucked and tackled well.

Thank you to Dauntsey's for a very enjoyable afternoon!
