Match Report
Salisbury Cathedral School Boys-U10B vs  Sandroyd
On: Wednesday, 19 Jan 2022
Venue: at Home

This was a tough opening match of the season for the U10B team against an organised and skilful Sandroyd team. We were under pressure for the vast majority of the match as Sandroyd passed well and found space to attack down the wings.

Ben and Benedict formed a solid defensive partnership and did very well to repel many of these attacks. In goal, Oli was outstanding and made countless saves throughout the match. Joshua also acquitted himself very well and he should commended for his constant effort, energy and tenacity at all times.

The score line was close at half time, but in the second half, Sandroyd's pressure became too much and they ran out with a well-deserved 4-0 victory.

There is plenty to work for this team, but with the right effort and application, they should begin to make improvements to their game.
