Match Report
Salisbury Cathedral School Mixed-U11C vs  West Hill Park School
On: Wednesday, 22 Jun 2022
Venue: Away

A good performance from the U11C team, which for many is their last competitive game for SCS.

WHP put us into bat first, and their bowlers were immediately on the money. The first 4 overs only went for 3 runs, however SCS managed to avoid losing wickets to some fantastic bowling. Ben and Amelia were the pick of the batters, running well and hitting a couple of boundaries to elevate our score to 218. I was particularly impressed with the teamwork, and the fact that WHP were only able to take one wicket.

West Hill Park started their batting innings explosively, finding the gaps astutely off the tee. There was some superb bowling from SCS, and I was pleased with how the bowlers responded positively to any extras or runs from their over. Special mentions must go to Sofiia, who played brilliantly in only her second game of cricket, and to Oliver W, who bowled accurately and was unlucky not to pick up a wicket.

Overall, a good game to end on; it was clear how much many of the players have improved over the course of the season.
