Match Report
Salisbury Cathedral School Girls-U13A vs  Millfield Preparatory School
On: Wednesday, 19 Jan 2022
Venue: Away

Bryanston Tournament.

Our first match was v a strong Millfield controlled the play all the way through, SCS had opportunities and took ball to goal but could not get in the net due to awesome defence.

Next game v Highfield was a much better game with SCS taking ball to goals and scoring 3 goals, Highfield were strong in attack and our defence tried their hardest to get interceptions needed to level out the play. Score 3-7

Our first win v Sherbourne Prep School, with a 5-1 lead into half time Sherbourne pulled back and turned over our centre passes and with a run to goal every time SCS managed to maintain the lead to take the win 8-5,

Next match v Cheam, great performance by SCS against a strong Cheam keeping them to 2-2 at half time. However Cheam came our dominant and SCS could not find the flow to take ball to the net and score. 2-9.

Into the Vase semi final where we met Walhampton and won easily 7-1, and into the Vase final meeting Hazelgrove where we couldn't find our focus and lost 10-3.

A good day, mixed bag with matches against some very strong squads, nominated Player of the squad nominated Eve Cunningham Brown. Although for mention Bea Staines who work rate in the centre court was consistently high, earning her Player of the match for many of the matches.
